What are you expecting from them tonight? What would make you happy and what would make you extremely concerned? For me, I'd like them to move the ball down the field. Depending on the play calling, I can live with FG's vs TD's especially since we play the Giants this year. I'd also like to see Rodgers kept clean. No hits.
First thing I want is for them to stay on the field for at least a quarter. No one drive shit. Let them get their feet wet for good. Not against for entire first half either. Second thing I want to see is Offensive Line protecting Rodgers and not letting pass rushers disrupt Rodgers. I know it will be a vanilla game plan but I want some sexy down the field throws to G.Wilson. Also, I want Giants to lose badly.
First and foremost, I want no injuries. I don't want any unnecessary risks to starters. Play them no longer than the 1st qtr., if that long. I want to see solid OL play, ball security, good/solid play from the rookies, and no dumb penalties. I'd prefer that they win convincingly, but will settle for a 1-point win.
One thing I DO NOT want to see is Zach Wilson. A Joe Douglas bust that should be let go. Wilson cannot complete any passes. We do not need a running QB, we have RB's for that.
I want to see Rodgers catch the snap and either hand it off or dump it off in two seconds. No running and no opportunities for a defender to get anywhere near him.
I was fine with what I saw. Was a little concerning to see Rodgers running around like that, just gonna have to hope Brown can solidify the line or this might be a “hold your breath” scenario all year
I said it last year and I’ll say it again right now — GW is in the same tier as Diggs, Chase,Tyreek, AJ Brown and JJ. He is going to be a fucking super star
Did I hear Saleh saying Becton is the starting right tackle? And yeah... "Rodgers to Wilson!" is gonna be a phrase oft heard.
A) Yes you did! B) And hopefully, the unexpected will happen, & that phrase will apply to another Wilson, in a couple of years Better late than never! .
I tell ya, that TD pass to Wilson was a thing of beauty. Pretty much indefensible. I expect to see a lot of that this season.
