It's set we are drafting 6th! Here is my 1st mock for the Jets:

ROUND 1) Amari Cooper WR Alabama - We need a game changer on offense and Amari is that! Reminds me of Demaryius Thomas so that could be good news for Decker.

ROUND 2) TJ Yeldon RB Alabama - TJ is the most underrated RB in this years draft class and has the potential to be an absolute stud at the pro level. He reminds me of LeVeon Bell/Arian Foster and with CJ on his way out I think he would be a perfect fit.

ROUND 3) Ty Sambrailo OT Colorado State - This guy is a beast and would improve our OL in every way. Can play OT or G and is 6'5'' 300+ pounder is nice in the run game.

ROUND 4) Doran Grant CB/S Ohio State- Versatile DB that has the speed to play corner but also has the athletisicm to be a FS.

ROUND 5 ) Geneo Grissom, OLB Oklahoma - Grissom is a tweaner but a very underrated OLB. His stats don't show the impact he has on games and has taken his new role as a OLB very naturally.

ROUND 6) PERCY HARVIN TRADE -Most likely a 6th

ROUND 7) Jarrett Grace ILB Notre Dame - Missed this year with a busted leg but is a solid football player and can help on special teams. Given his injury it's definitely a boom or bust pick with big upside because Grace looked good before his injury.

I'll try to post a new one after all the kids have declared or not.

Really like this draft a lot honestly....

    1) I don't know if Cooper will be around by 6 but jump on him if so. Not sure about the Dey. Thomas comparison because I think Cooper is less raw than what Thomas was when heading into the NFL, especially from a route running standpoint. I also don't know if Cooper has Thomas vertical/leap ability to make catches up in the air.

    2) Yeldon is a mixed bag. I think he's got a shot to be a good back in the NFL but there's no denying how much talent he got to run behind during his time in Alabama and with Trent Richardson being a disaster and Eddie Lacy being so good, its so tough to really gauge how a Bama RB necessarily does of recent time. Worth the investment though I would prefer finding a back in say round 5 as I don't think its a massive need and think something like an ILB is a bigger need.

    3) Read a crazy stat on Sambrailo that he never let up a sack in 2013 or 2014....up until this past Utah game where a underrated pass rusher named Nate Orchard got the better of him with pressures on Grayson. Don't know how much merit that stat means given the competition Colorado St was used to facing but it is still impressive nevertheless and worthy of taking him high in round 3. Will need to really prove it in the strength portions of the combine and pro day, usually the concern with mid major tackles.

    4) Grant will be matched up vs Cooper which should be a fun matchup. Might be a mismatch against Grant given how good Cooper is but still will be fun to watch nevertheless.

    5) Grace would be a stellar pick in round 7. Should be a special teams contributor for a while, very good tackler and open field tackler. Irish defense really missed his services this past season.

Rather go ILB in round 2 (Denzel Perryman anyone?) then RB. Yeldon is overrated. Other than that sign me up for this draft.

Agree with the post above, other than Yeldon I like this draft. Yeldon doesn't impress me like the typical Alabama back should. I'd prefer someone different later in the draft. I also still think we keep Percy though it may depend on the new GM.

if we don't bring back DavidHarris on a cheap 1 year deal, as he still performs at a high level, then I agree we need a new ILB in rd. 2 rather than RB. RB you can get later to complement Ivory...

TJ is going to be a great RB in the NFL. This kid plays under a microscope being a local kid on the biggest stage in college football. When he gets away from the family & friend atmosphere and can focus simply on football.. Watch out! He will be a stud!

Yeldon isn't even the best RB on his own team. ;)

Though hopefully that's more of a Portis/McGahee/Gore situation for your point.
