Here it is folks the last mock of the year! After so much film and evaluating these kids I’ve come down to this mock that I think will change the Jets from the bottom to the top in a hurry! 1. Jaguars - Good ol Jags going boom or bust with an athletic freak.. they go for the high ceiling with walker over Hutchison. 2. Lions -Aiden Hutchison Edge- The obvious pick with the Michigan pass rusher. If they shock the world with Willis it could turn the draft upside down. 3. Texans - Sauce Gardner CB - Lovie Smith needs playmakers everywhere. Sauce gives them a safe starter day one. 4. Jets - Kayvon Thibodeaux Edge - Jets take the pass rusher they covet to bolster their edge D. KT has an explosive first step and will thrive in a 4-3 D. 5. Giants - Ikem Ekwonu OT - Giants need help on their OL and Ikey can play guard or tackle for them. 6. Panthers - Kenny Pickett QB - Rhule needs a Hail Mary with Pickett to keep his job but he goes for it and rolls the dice on the Pitt prospect that he tried to recruit. 7. Giants - Kyle Hamilton S - With Peppers moving on the Giants take a position of need that could also be their BPA. 8. Atlanta - Malik Willis QB - Atlanta brings in the strong arm local boy to get groomed under Mariota. 9. Seahawks- Jermaine Johnson Edge - Hawks are thin at edge and JJ brings instant production. He fits a 4-3 D that Seattle runs as well as a DE. **Trade** Saints: #10 + #69 Jets: #15 + #19 10. Saints - Evan Neal OT - Saints move up for a franchise LT that they just lost in Armstead. 11. Commanders - Garrett Wilson WR - Commanders give Wentz another weapon to pair up with scary Terry. 12. Vikings - Derek Stingley Jr - Vikings need corners badly and they roll the dice on high ceiling Stingley. 13. Texans - Jordan Davis DT - Lovie keeps building on D adding a dominant 2 down tackle. 14. Ravens - Trent McDuffie CB - Ravens got hit hard with injuries in their secondary and need press man corners. 15. Jets - Devin Lloyd LB - Jets land an absolute stud LB that has instincts and great ball skills and awareness. Making the trade with the saints they would be hoping Lloyd was there at 15. 19. Jets - Treylon Burks WR - When their is smoke there is fire and the Jets have been all over him through the draft process. It seems Burks fits the Jets philosophy with his attitude, skill set and gives them a different flavour for Wilson. 35. Jets - Kaiir Elam CB - He’s long, a baller and fits the system. I think he slips to us and we run to the podium. 38. Jets - Bernhard Raimann OT - The insurance policy for Becton and depth at tackle. He’s big nasty and raw so being a depth piece makes a lot of sense. 111. Jets - Jerome Ford RB - Ford is just too good to pass up here. He can run with speed, with power, run inside, run outside and has a nose for the end zone. I think he’s a perfect fit for MLF and partner for Carter. 117. Jets - JT Woods S - Woods who was a ball hawk at Baylor with big upside. Long and fast with a nose for the football. I feel he’s underrated. 146. Jets - Alec Lindstrom C - Solid Center that can step in right away if the cut McGovern or learn for a year as good depth. 163. Jets - Neil Farrell DT - Run stuffing gap filling bruiser. JD takes a flyer on a kid that can help our run D and has upside.
