Didn't take long for people to completely lose interst, I guess. Mets are getting good production from Davis, Reyes, Wright, Harris, and Beltran, but catcher, second base, and center field have been black holes. More to the point, they have exactly 3 pitchers (Young, Dickey, and Beato) who haven't been awful. In Parnell's last 3 appearances 8 of the 16 batters he's faced have gotten on base.

Most teams are out of it by Labor Day, and a few are out of it by the 4th of July. The Mets seem to be going for Easter.

That Nats game on Sunday is exactly why this team sucks. Young pitched a great game only to get no production from his lineup outside of the 1st inning and to watch the bullpen implode. It'll get better and I think they can hang around for a little while they're not on par with Atlanta and Philadelphia.

If I see Bobby Parnell go out there one more time for an 8th inning job I'm going to lose my mind. Get him and the rest of that poor excuse of a bullpen out of here.

Parnell has been awful but it's too soon to give up on him, the Mets are not going to compete this year and he's young and theoretically should have the stuff to be a successful pitcher.

Besides the Tulo HR the runs the BP gave up yesterday were cheap, and if the pitchers could throw accurately from the mound to home the Mets probably win the game.

Dont worry guys I am back from my business trip next week so will start these threads of despair!!

I know our pitching stinks but our fielding has been fucking embarrassing. After Duda's attemot to circumnavigate queens to catch a routine fly ball to reyes aiming for some guy in the third tier we look like a mess.

Oh well I am sat in hotel room with mlb ready ( weather permitting!)

Lets go mets! ( I still have faith in Niese....that may change soon!!)

I still think we should have traded Pagon in the offseason. They should have traded him when his value was high. He had a good year last year but nothing in his career had shown us it was anything but an anomally.

Probably because he doesn't want to go to a Mets game?

I don't want to go, especially not tonight.

Plus I have no one to go with tonight.

I have two tickets to the Caesars Club section in left field. I guess I'll go and try to sell them.

Beltran is becoming tough to sit for my fantasy team. He's outperforming Rios, so far.

Went to the stadium, wasted an hour. No one would even take them.

Finally donated them to the office who claims they give tickets to military.

Christ we suck. Roll on 2012!

Outside of Davis/Wright and Beltran we have no power at all and its basically Young and a bunch of limpwrists!

Oh well at least we have the nfl to look forward to...................................
