    Presumably they're bringing someone in.

Edit: sorry, the title should say "to be placed on IR". Taken from Jenny V on Twitter.

Just got a text from Turner, he doesn't give a shit.

But yea this blows, I was hoping he'd be back after the bye.

Well that sucks. I suppose the surgery was either more serious or not healing as fast.

This makes me sad, but also makes me excited about a possible signing or trade.

They probably saw enough out of Baxter to shut Turner down so they could use that roster spot for another player...

We're definitely going to have to bring someone in now for offensive line depth.

My thinking as well, Baxter played well considering he is an undrafted rookie making his 1st start against one of the best DL's in the league. Hopefully they can groom him or even better maybe he can play RT.

So where does our depth stand assuming (praying) Mangold plays this week? Is Baxter just a Centre or is he 2nd string at both Guard positions as well?

Being 6-5 isn't really helping Hunter.

Besides, he's half an inch shorter than Woody was. I'm not saying he could play RT, but there are more reasons why he couldn't than 'he's too short".

That was wishful thinking ,I figured at best he could be a guard.

He's coming off of a season ending injury. Unless he's fed up with the Jets or the Jets are fed up with him, I don't think we'll have a problem bidding for his services.

Has turner had any experience at the position?

Also, agreed completely on the height issue. Turner is as tall as Matt Light.

well, its a roster spot to use on another OL to potentially groom. Its too bad about Turner, but he was pretty much written off by me this season when he got hurt.

Still wondering what the deal with Logan Payne is, they must really like him.
