Every year there are players that go higher and lower than anyone expected to see, which is what makes the draft so fun. Now it's time to throw your cards on the table and look good or bad... Who do you see being taken higher than anyone expects or lower than anyone expects? Here's my list and we'll look back on Sunday night to see who made the best calls.

HIGHER THAN YOU MAY HAVE THOUGHT
    - Josh Johnson, QB, San Diego --------------- 3
    - Eddie Royal, WR, Virginia Tech ----------- 2
    - Jerome Simpson, WR, Coastal Carolina --- Late 2 ? 3
    - Will Franklin, WR, Missouri ---------------- 3 ? Early 4
    - Lance Leggett, WR, Miami ------------------ 4 -5
    - Shannon Boatman, OT, Florida St. ---------- 3 -4
    - Trevor Laws, DT, Notre Dame --------------- Late 1 ? 2
    - Ahtyba Rubin, DT, Iowa St. ------------------ Late 1 -2
    - Andre Fluellen, DT, Florida St. -------------- 2 ? 3
    - Marcus Howard, LB, Georgia ---------------- 3 -4
    - Jameel McClain, ILB, Syracuse ------------- 3 -4
    - Tyvon Branch, CB, UConn ------------------ 2
    - Orlando Scandrick, CB, Boise St. ----------- 2 ? 3
    - Tyrell Johnson, S, Arkansas St ------------- Late 1 - 2

DROPPED MORE THAN YOU MAY HAVE THOUGHT
    - Erik Ainge, QB, Tennessee ----------------- 7 - Undrafted
    - Steve Slaton, RB, West Virginia ----------- 5 -6
    - Mike Hart, RB, Michigan ------------------- 6 ? 7
    - Malcolm Kelly, WR, Oklahoma ------------ 3
    - Adarius Bowman, WR, Oklahoma St ------ Undrafted
    - Sam Baker, OT, USC ------------------------- 3 ? 4
    - Calais Campbell, DE, Miami ---------------- 4 - 5
    - Aqib Talib, CB, Kansas ---------------------- Mid 2 ? 3

if baker is going to fall to the 4th, what a steal for OL depth that would be.

Come on, that's it? Let's see some people step up to the plate and make some bold predictions

Talib would be a steal in mid round 2 if we were able to acquire an extra pick.

Also, Malcolm Kelly in Round 3 is just ridiculous: So what if he's a 4.6 guy, so was Jerry Rice. I'm not comparing him to Rice, but you don't have to have good timed speed to be a good receiver.

It's not just very poor timed speed, but also overall game speed and explosiveness is pretty below average. He also turned in a 29" vertical leap if I'm not mistaking...

Plus he has potential knee problems. Here's a kicker for me:

"There have been reports that some teams are so concerned about the health of both his knees he could be removed from their draft boards all together..." - NFLDraftCountdown

Maybe the poor running, jumping etc. were the result of bad knees, but I'm going to stick with my prediction here... We'll see

He was once considered a Top 15 pick...even if he doesn't work out, he'd be an excellent pick in round 3 for someone.

So for all the draft-heavy posters we have here, nobody cares enough to try and call the stocks of some players?

That's weak... Come on, don't be afraid to be wrong. It's a crapshot most of the time.

    Rubin
    McClain
    Lagett
    Jordy Nelson
    Marcus Monk
    Paul Hubbard
    Cameron Colvin
    Brian Johnston
    Kendall Langford
    Eric Foster
    Fernando Velasco
    Frank Okam
    DeMario Pressley
    Letroy Guion
    Frank Morton
    Shawn Crable
    Tavares Gooden
    Curtis Gatewood
    Patrick Lee
    Antwaun Molden
    Josh Barnett

Theres going to be alot of "surprise" D-line picks...

Those 4 WR guys are the reasons why I see no point in going Hardy or whoever in Round 2. Cameron Colvin is going to be an absolute steal.
