We lost a great voice on Friday. Jay Black, from Jay and the Americans died Friday from complications from pneumonia. My wife, and I got to see them perform twice. The last performance we saw he had gotten really overweight. However like Elvis, he never lost his ability to sing all of his hits very well. His vocal range was amazing. RIP, Jay and condolences to your family.
