    Yes, RIP. He was awesome. A truly amazing RB and player. He was grace and poetry in motion. Sad that only two of us have commented so far.

    Reggie Bush was supposed to be the next Sayers (they said). He was before my time, but RB has always been my favorite skilled player position and Sayers was one of the best I've ever seen (from highlights).

    Despite being a football fan when he was in his heyday, I barely saw him play, since I was an AFL fan and there was virtually no national coverage back then. The highlights, however, are amazing. The remarkable thing is that he only had 5 healthy years, playing only 64 games (the 4 in 1970 and 1971 don't count, as he was totally shot by then). With the 16-game schedule that would be only 4 seasons nowadays.
