    I never him saw him play but I remember my dad telling me how he intimidated the crap out of his opponents. RIP.

    If anyone were to play like him today they would be penalized and thrown out of every game.

    He is probably the best tackler ever. He probably caused more fumbles than any player in history and unfortunately, it was not a recorded statistic back then.

    What is amazing about him is his speed and agility. He was excellent at covering backs and tight ends also.

    People say LT and Ray Lewis are the best LBs, but these are ignorant folks who no nothing about NFL history. Dick Butkus is the greatest LB ever to play in the NFL.

    To get an idea of how hard he hit, there are stories of him destroying sleds in practice!
