Can’t believe no one started this yet. Thanks for the best Mets season, I can remember. I was alive in 69 but what I remember is probably more from my family than actual memories.
I don't recall exactly the situation but in one game, he alternated orosco/fisk in right field either at end of the game or during extra innings. When a lefty came up, Orosco pitched etc. It looked like a dynasty was forming until they traded Kevin Mitchell for McReynolds. Great year tho 1986.
