    Wilson going ahead of Haden.
Thomas going ahead of Dez Bryant.
Clausen still going to the 'Skins at #4.

Kareem Jackson?? I like Jackson as a 2nd round pick but to be picked by us over guys like Everson Griffen, Linval Joseph, Mike Iupati, etc... is just stupid.

Jackson's probably going in the first round, but not to the Jets.

I've always viewed him as a high 2nd round pick but I'll take your word for it...I'd still be pissed if we took a CB not named Haden or Wilson over Griffen, Iupati, and Joseph.

This mock draft is completely retarded.

Absolutely no chance that Bryan Bulaga falls to 19. And Kyle Wilson may be a great talent, but even Al Davis will pass on him at 8. My kid could produce a better mock draft than this moron.

    So...

Does this guy think the Redskins just dropped two draft picks to bring in McNabb for a single season and pay $20 million+ to the QB position for him/Clausen, or does he think they'll be committing $20 million+ to the position for multiple seasons?

Apparently, this guy puts out one of the most accurate mocks every year. We'll see about that in a few days.

If our best option is Kareem Jackson in the first than I am just going to snap.

Yeah this mock is retarded. I don't think that Minnesota goes for a OT when they have Loadholt and McKinnine and they need help at their guard position. Just seems retarded for them to pick Rodger Saffold over Mike Iupati.

And CB in the first is massive overkill for us. We need a pass rusher so that our shitty 3rd and 4th corners don't need to cover.

Yes, he does. I'm actually a little surprised that many here, in a Draft forum, don't seem to know who he is.
He's regarded by most as the expert among experts when it comes to the draft.

This is his 2nd of 3 versions.
His last one comes out on draft day morning, I believe. Maybe he purposefully made this 2nd one a bit "controversial" to get some buzz going for his final mock draft on Thursday.

I also think this mock is nuts. I would have been more dismissive if it didn't come from the "king of mock drafts".

Some of us are getting OLD....

And the new kids are coming in...... I find myself in debates with kids who never saw Dan Marino play.

Don't even ask who Joel Buchsbaum is around here ;)

I would do a backflip into a vat of sulfuric acid if this happened.

Rick is considered the best investigator/mock guy of all the regular football writers. At the very least it says that if Odrick is gone we are going DB. I'd be fine with that if we pick up DL in round 2. Its not a bad plan either considering we could still get a top 5 DB. The Vikings and everyone after us needs help in that department.

First of all, yes, Gosselin is one of the most highly regarded draftniks around. Secondly, the way he does mocks, is his 2nd one is strictly based on need. In his final mock, he bases it on contacts he has around the league. This mock is typically vastly different than his previous versions and is the one that is pretty good (as good as mocks can be without trades).

Personally, I think mocks are worthless with the exception of they give you an idea of how high prospects will go. What Gosselin is most famous for is his top 100 list. This is based on his contacts and he always hits between 88-92 of the top 100 players taken. That's pretty good.
