Looks like the Kerry Rhodes era is off to a fabulous start in Arizona. Kind of a bullshit call but funny nonetheless. Rhodes gets up off the ground and approaches the official, who is walking near him but not looking in his direction. Rhodes puts his hand out to tap the official on the shoulder to say something (a gesture that is extremely common in all sports between players and officials) and the official freaks out. You can see the official put up his arm, shove Rhodes in the chest and then throw his pretty yellow flag. After talking to his buddies, they decided that Rhodes "grabbed" the official and he was ejected. I am sure the rules-loving NFL will fine him as well. http://arizona.sbnation.com/2010/9/19/1698316/kerry-rhodes-ejected-official-arizona-cardinals-nfl
found this tidbit as well.... "Not a good start at all for the revitalized, physical Arizona Cardinals defense, as the Falcons drove the ball 70 yards on nine plays for an opening drive touchdown. The Cardinals Kerry Rhodes started things off with an Unsportsmanlike Conduct foul that gave the Falcons an extra 15 yards to start things off with great field position." So happy to be rid of this assclown.
Knowing Rhodes, he probably tapped him in the lightest, gayest manner possible, so the official probably is wrong on this one.
the tap was probably so gay, the official thought rhodes was about to molest him, which led to the freak out
I hope Kerry enjoys playing for one of the worst defenses in the NFL. Good luck with your modeling and acting career in middle of the desert!
Kerry tapped him on the shoulder, but he got the flag for excessive celebration after the tap. Apparently the ball was also loose on the ground while he was celebrating.
I met another of his cousins in Providence RI this summer, Victor Cromartie. He's not a DB sadly, don't cry for him though, he's a hotel manager at a Hampton Inn.
remember when Rhodes tried to return that fumble in the open field and was running? remember how retarded and slow he looked running? what the hell is wrong with him?
rotfl!!! from his website "Kerry is unlike what individuals may label a typical athlete. He enjoys movie watching, video game playing, pool, basketball and volunteering his time to charitable causes. Kerry has become a visible and highly photographed face on red carpets hosted by the fashion, music and entertainment industries. His fashion sense, infectious personality and sleek style have conspicuously landed him the label NFL’s hottest player."
