Just a few thoughts on Rex's presser Rex Ryan praising the coaching staff. - Serves him right. Throwing the kicker under the bus. - Funny how at best case the Jets would have tied the game if every kick had been made. Relying on defense to win the game again. - 1980's mentality. Of course he has faith in Geno - Hah. Laughable. Staying the course throughout the second half even after the results were less effective. - Lack of adaptability on offense. Thought they had the game in control. - Anyone could see that the Jets were losing control in the third period. Rex believes that rushing for over 200 yards in the first half is an accomplishment. "I'll take that any day". - Funny how they only got 10 points in the first half so 200+ yards doesn't mean shit. Is running for 200 yards for 10 points better that passing for 200 yards and scoring only 10 points? Unfortunately, in Rex's world it does. Do Rex supporters really believe that the QB position will ever be successful long-term without the Jets getting extremely lucky?
Yeah, no need really for us to get up in arms. I'll be shocked if the Jets win another game. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Oh I'm not up in arms. I think is was a perfect game for the Jets on Monday Night Football. The Jets didn't embarrass themselves. They didn't screw up their draft position. The CS / Geno are shown to be awful. For me it was just fine.
Like a deflated balloon. Thought I'd never see rex like this. This is his second worst press conference. The worst was him addressing the media about his fetish.
Never saw that happen before. Didnt seem off base or anything. Went to respond and it said an error had occurred. I dont know.
He should if the next four games are going to be like this. And I like Rex and on some level understand if tonight was a troll job to Idzik, but who wants to watch this crap? It's hard enough justifying watching a 2-10 team without having to look at the wishbone offense.
Who gives a shit? The season is over, there is literally nothing to play for at this point. Rex is on his way out, he thinks he got fucked over, so he is going out his way. The guy is smart. Things are about to be blown up, things are about to change dramatically, I found it refreshing overall. Maybe I'm losing my shit but I'm so over this season, I just don't care at this point. I do support Rex, maybe I'm one of the few left, but I think the guy is one hell of a coach. I think he got a raw deal and it is a mistake firing him. I believe we will regret it and the worst is yet to come. Everyone thinks blowing up everything and firing everybody is going to make us relevant again. It won't. It never does. At this point I just want the draft to hurry up and get here.
The Jets should trade for Harbaugh now, why wait? The 49ers aren't going anywhere and their GM and HC are playing games against each other just like Idzik and Rex. Fire Rex and Idzik now, we can't be any worse without them.
I do think Idzik gave Rex a raw deal this season. However, Rex has his own share of problems. For one, still thinking this is the 1970's.
