Mangold will probably be back this week. Rex said so during the press conference last night. Although IDK how they expect to pull this off either way.
yup down 21-0 at the half. Then Sanchez lights it up, we lose 31-28, and Rex thinks Schotty did it. Rex clearly does not get it. This is Bad.
At least he's trying to give the offense some sort of identity again. Instead of the run for 1 yard, stupid pass play, incomplete or complete for 3 yards on 3rd and 9 strategy and Shittenheimer seems to fancy. You have to wonder what Santonio Holmes is thinking and if he's already regretting signing here long term. He's clearly very unhappy and frustrated with this offense.
Yep, and that's the best news of the day. Whether right or wrong about the philosophy he wants from his offense, at least Rex is reigning in Shotty and making it known he is the boss.
Do you really need an O coordinator with ground and pound? Where the fuck has Conner been? We need to blow up LB blitzers
For the 3rd consecutive season. For the 3rd fucking time, this offense has shit the bed and Rex has had to take over The writing is on the wall. Schotty is now Bob Sutton. Fire Bob Sutton.
I don't think we have ran it near enough to down it this year. The jets came out of the gate throwing and it imo was a mistake. I'm glad to hear it. I want every effort made to bring back the team of the past 2 years with an identity of strong defense and run game.
:drunk: Well, at least Ducasse can run block (forget pass blocking) so this might help our depth on the O-Line.
As far as ground and pound being back. It's not out of the realm of possibility. With a healthy Mangold, and you put Ducasse in at RT, Rex may have something. Ducasse may be a r'tard on passing downs, but he's shown some skills as a road grater in the running game.
