Rex blames the Defensive play for the loss...but isn't that why Rex is here?

Rex is supposed to be a Defensive genius, who spent six straight 1st round picks on the defense and yet he says they dropped the ball again.
If the defense sucks and that is supposed to be Rex's calling card, what good is he?
Chiefs completed 62% of third downs and 3 of 4 redzone processions for TD.

I predicted before the season the Jets would be 2-8 at the bye-week, well they will be 1-9, so even I over estimated Rex's ability. You can only polish a turd so much and it is still a turd. The Jets need to clean house and start fresh with a new GM, HC and QB. Fire ever coach and scout in the organization!

This really needed another thread? I think its almost a consensus among people here that a full house cleaning is needed...and for those that don't think so yet? Well there's 7 more games of horseshit play to convince them

Just another example of the overrated-ness of a head coach.

I've said it plenty of times. In most cases you are only as good as your talent.

Who is going to win with Josh Thomas, Marcus Williams, Calvin Pryor and an out of position Antonio Allen as your secondary? Please give me one name of a coach that could win with that?

Idzik trusted that 2 injury prone CB's would be healthy throughout an entire season. That was flat out stupid.

Im not saying Rex isnt part of the problem. But really what would you like him to do when he has practice squad players starting on his defense and other guys playing out of position?

And not for nothing but you arent going to win any games in the NFL when the offense scores 10 points. The defense played bad but the offense and special teams were just as bad.

The whole team blows. No way to just point at one area and say "thats the problem".

It's very tough when you have guys who work at mcdonalds and boston market playing corner back... Can't always make chicken salad out of chicken shit, my friends.

Belicheck had WRs in the secondary one year and they were still winning. Rex needs elite players or his defenses suck. He can't coach anyone up to play above their abilities.

That's an asinine comparison, Chicken also had Tom Brady playing QB but I agree with your premise about Rex needing elite players especially in the secondary. All his success came with Revis and Cromartie playing CB.

Seriously guys? Look at the product on the field.

I said this at the stadium to a guy we sit next to...
Imagine we Had Vick, Chris Johnson, and Harvin 3-4 years ago? lol

They are trying to find cheap gold.

Ask, What coach would have done better w/this Roster??

It's funny, You use the argument for Sanchez saying he had a better team with the back to back AFCCG..

but when it comes to Rex, all of a sudden having sucky players doesn't matter. o_O

re: this whole fire everyone from the top down including the scouts exclamation that i have seen too much of lately. the scouts we have now will be the scouts we have until after the draft despite what happens at the top of the dept. you just can't switch scouts in the middle of a football season. scouts contracts run through the draft, there are no available scouts to hire. firing scouts now is going to leave the team with an empty scouting dept. so this whole the scouts need to be fired now along with everyone else is just ignorant at best, childish at worst and detracts from any other point,no matter how valid, a poster was trying to make.

Is that why they went out and spent 15$ mil revamping their DB core? Because it's so easy to win without them?

Also,. You know WR4 playing CB3 had nothing to do with them winning,. #12 says hi.

Rex has a better defense here than he does on the field.

That Thomas kid didn't look too bad. Or maybe it was the Williams kid. One of these scrapheap bums wasn't too shabby in the KC game

Actually, you should be asking, is there a coach that can do any worse?
