    Hello,

I have to get my username changed because it kills me a little inside everytime I have to say "Revis" in the thread title. Anyways, I know most people are pissed off about free agency, but it's apparent Idzik wants to build this team through the draft like the Seahawks. There is a lot of talent in this draft so hopefully we nail it on some picks.

ROUND 1, WR LSU, ODELL BECKHAM JR

For me, Odell Beckjam Jr is the 3rd best wide receiver in this draft class. He has elite speed that results in separation and some big plays down the field. Although he is only 6 foot, he seems to play a lot taller than that as he's more than willing to jump up and snag the ball out of the air. Also, his catch radius for his size is pretty remarkable. Another positive with Beckham Jr is his Special Teams ability as he's an electric return man. Ultimately, Beckham and Decker together can make the receiving position a strength.

ROUND 2, TROY NIKLAS, TE NOTRE DAME

I love Troy Niklas just because of the potential he presents. A player for initially played OLB, he's only been playing the tight end position for 2 years. A 6'7 giant, Niklas was asked to block a lot at Notre Dame and did it extremely well. To me, he's the best blocking TE in the draft. His stats (32 receptions, 498 yards) don't jump off the page, but it's because this guy was blocking more than he was running routes. It's unfortunate that he didn't run at the Combine because on tape he shows a lot of speed for his size. I think Niklas, which some grooming, could become a top-tier TE in this league

ROUND 3, STANLEY JEAN BAPTISTE, CB NEBRASKA

Physically, SJB has the potential to be a very good cornerback in Rex's system. A 6'3 cornerback, SJB isn't afraid to play bump and run coverage. He can back pedal well (i don't know if people remember, but Dee never back pedaled at Alabama) and can play the ball well, not the receiver. The Seahawk's secondary was made off of draft picks and I think SJB can be that pick that really helps solidify the secondary. SJB's hands aren't spectacular, but I still think he's be a great pick to help rebuild this secondary

ROUND 4, DION BAILEY, S USC

Bailey seems to be constantly around the ball and that's exactly who we need in our secondary. A linebacker converted safety, Bailey can cover tightends and wide receivers well. The game against Stanford was the one that really made me like this guy. He had an interception and forced fumble in the game which helped USC get the upset. He can read the eyes of the quarterback and isn't afraid to take risks. I think him and Antonio Allen have the potential to be our future safety tandem.

ROUND 4, JORDAN TRIPP, OLB MONTANA

It's pretty unfortunate Tripp is at Montana, he's a good football player. He has a really food first step and causes a lot of disruption in the backfield. He also can cover pretty well, something we need with Calvin Pace being a matchup paradise for offensive players. I'd like to see him add more muscle to his frame as he can sometimes get pushed out of plays by empowering offensive tackles. He's a good pursuit player as well and I like the potential this guy has. Obviously coming from a small school he's raw, but I think we should take a chance with this kid

ROUND 5, De'Anthony Thomas, OW Oregon

Running a 4.50 forty at the NFL Combine didn't exactly help Thomas. A kid that is heralded for his elite speed, that wasn't the time anyone was expecting. Personally, I was disappointed but I care way more about the tape and on tape Thomas can flat out fly. Thomas is a piece, a piece that Marty can move around anywhere on the field. His speed is great enough to strike fear into any defender covering him. He can be our Darren Sproles type of player, he just needs to bulk up more. His durability is a serious concern and his blocking needs improvement. Still, this guy is a mismatch anywhere he goes and I think he can definitely improve this offense.

ROUND 6, BRANDON COLEMAN, WR RUTGERS

Brandon Coleman is the type of player that makes me question player evaluation in the NFL. 2 years ago Keenan Allen was considered a first round pick until an injury and poor QB play pushed him into the 3rd round. He played extremely well last year. Alshon Jeffrey was considered a first round talent until concerns about his weight came into play so he fell to the 2nd round. Well, the Bears got the last laugh on that one. Anyways, if you asked anyone at the beginning where Coleman would get drafted, everyone would of said 1st or 2nd round. Now injuries and piss poor QB play have seriously effected Coleman's draft stock and I think he'll be a steal. A 6'6 big bodied receiver, Coleman can snag the ball in the air and uses his body well to box out smaller defenders. Running a 4.56 at 6'6 is a pretty amazing feat, so he's got speed. We definitely need to scoop this guy up

ROUND 7, STEVEN CLARK, P AUBURN

Every position needs competition and we haven't had a good punter in a while. Ultimately a flyer and hopefully it pays off.

I hope you guys enjoyed my mock. Let me know what you guys think

Other than Coleman, I LOVE that draft and would be very, very happy with it. I don't hate Coleman, and can't complain about a 6th round pick, so even he would be ok if he developed into a solid RZ threat.

There's a lot to be happy about in this draft. I think I would personally prefer Ed Reynolds over Dion Bailey (assuming he's available at that slot) because Reynolds seems more like a center field type safety, but it's not like Dion Bailey is a bad pick.

This would be a fantastic draft for the Jets. Plus there are another 3? compensatory picks to play with. Can you "fax" this list to Idzik????

that's true. dion bailey plays almost more like a CB then anything, but he can definitely be taught be play center field. always seems to be around the ball and make plays

Perfect draft. huge fan of ODB, Niklas, Jean-Baptiste and Bailey.

also, PM Cman if you want your name changed. he did it for me, I was previously "Quit Ducking Revis".
