"Reiterating our word from last night, the feeling close to the #Jets is that Darrelle Revis will miss at least 1 gm with pulled hammy."

it says the FEELING around people close to the Jets is that Revis will miss at least one game. I heard the same thing last night.

I think he probably misses 2 games. right now he's probably better off in the long run and being safe so this isn't an issue the whole season. as long as we're 2-2 after 4 games when we get pace, revis, and holmes back we're ok.

Well since the Revis no longer holding out thread is locked i'll use this thread to eat my crow. I was wrong about the Revis hammy thing and I definitely made my opinion known on the issue for the last week. The crow tastes surprisingly good after a win. It was very surprising and very encouraging to see the defense tighten things up in the second half without Revis to fall back on.

Think of it this way...TEDD GINN(tedd fucking ginn) torched Revis last year, just think what THE BEAST would do to him.

If they hold him out this week, they should also hold him out against the Bills. No reason to risk injury against the Bills. Save him up for the Vikes.

Wouldn't be surprising to beat the Fins and not show up against the Bills.

My guess is 3-1 after 4 anyway, and 3-0 in division!

2-2 isn't acceptable at this point with the Dolphins and Bills our next two opponents. We have to win those games vs two inferior divisional foes. We could afford a loss to Minnesota to fall to 3-2, but they look like a very winnable opponent right now.

This was inevitable.. hopefully he can be the player he was last year in the 2nd half of the season. That holdout was a major killer for him.

Have you seen the Dophins offense this season? There's no way they hang up more than 17 points on us, and really no good way for them to get there unless our defense totally falls flat.

We've held the Ravens run game in check and Tom Brady also. What exactly are the Fins going to do to score points?

The good news is Miami doesn't seem to have much rhythm on offense, and the only reason they are winning games is because of defense. Sanchez had success in both games against Miami. The one thing that concerns me is that Marshall absolutely bitch slaps Cromartie but maybe in a different system that won't be the case but it does make me have some concern about that matchup.

We have to sit him for atleast 2 weeks as precaution like you are all saying. Just imagine when we get Holmes,Pace and Revis back we will be that much better. We shut out the Patriots in second half without those guys so we will be okay with our openents in the next 2-3 weeks. The dolphins offense isnt playing that well anyway and the bills just suck.

Why is it that most players get hurt after a huge contract?

Is it too late for us to get him to hold out another two weeks and knock a few million off his contract?
