Sad day as a lifelong fan, loved Nick Mangold. He was anchor of a phenomenal oline we had on our 2009, 2010 runs. RIP
I’m truly saddened to hear this news. Condolences to his family and friends. RIP Nick you were one of my favorite Jets.
I would take 0-and-17 for the next 5 years to have Nick Mangold back with us. Please pray for his family.
close friend passed away last week from cancer, now this....RIP to to a true legend I will BBQ in your honor today
What a truly sad day. I of course never met the guy. But from everything I saw he was an amazing person who cared for others and wore his heart on his sleeve. Not only was he an amazing player but a real sportsman. Great with crowd. Great in person. Great work the fans he interacted with. Stayed around the team after retirement. 41 is no age to go. I'm so sorry guy his family. RIP Nick
Still traveling, and my brother just gave me the news. Can this season get any worse? Namath, Maynard, Curtis and Mangold - the Jets’ Mt Rushmore. RIP to an all time Jets great
I'm 41 years old and as a fan who watched every single one of his games this hits hard. I've never cried over an athlete dying but that changed as of today. RIP to the best Jet offensive lineman in history.
This is hitting me hard. Why is this hitting me so hard, I never met him? I just can't believe it. He's only a year older than I am. I've done fuck all with my life, would've been better if It was me I think. I don't get this life. I feel horrible for his wife and kids. I can't even grasp why this feels so smothering to me. Damn. RIP #74
I never met him neither. Don't say that about yourself, every life is precious. (besides Woodless Woody)
