This has some gamepaly in it. The game looks good, but I for one do not like the changes they made in RE4. RE 2 is one of my favorite games of all time, and RE 4 is right behind it. while RE 4's gameplay is fantastic (I would love to see Capcom remake RE 2 with that engine and gameplay mechanics), where it faulted was becoming simply a big shoot'em up as the game progressed instead of sticking with the creepy opening of the village that felt more like RE. that being said, I enjoyed the game immensely, and if RE 5 is as good, I will love it. of course, there is always the best case scenario that it will be better, but it doesn't have to be for me to enjoy it.
I really like RE4's new gameplay, but the game just didn't scare me like the original two (3 had it's moments). This game promises to be scarier than 4 by adding sunlight as a factor. Basically when you enter dark buildings you're eyes need to adjust to the darkness and the opposite happens when you exit the buildings i.e.you are blinded. All in all the game looks pretty intense.
They're not african americans, just africans. There are black people there too. But anyway, the zombies don't even look like zombies. Which is, i guess, more realistic (kind of), but not better. It's not like zombie games have to be realistic in the first place.
They are just supposed to be "infected" by the Umbrella virus...it's gonna be alot like 28 Days Later/28 Weeks Later. Normal looking people, covered in blood attacking you. It should be a GREAT game.
For the people who are saying this game is poorly done, I for one would like guarantee this game will be phenomenal... Resident Evil 4 was phenomenal absoloutley perfect.... They will continue the trend and this will be a 8.9 or or higher on the ign board... write it down.
