I love to have a show like this but it is really low budget. Just like the station it's on. What is going on with this station? Is it run by idiots? It sounds and looks horrible sometimes The baseball games have the wrong audio channel selected or the games sound like they're happening in a church. It better get going soon. The longer it takes the more credibility it loses. Didn't they plan for this station for a while? It looks like they decided from one day to another that they were gonna' put a station together and just did it. I've seen shows on public access that are more technically sound than some of the programing on this station. This is the Mets and Jets for crying outloud!!!! Get it together!
The station is absolute crap. I was watching the other day and during commercials, there would be one commercial running, and the audio of another playing on top of it. Just sad. It's been coming for a while though. I work across the street from the studio, and the windows have had signs for the station for a long time now. Jets Nation is a pretty lackluster show anyway. I TiVo'd it both times it was on, and neither show particularly impressed me. The host overacts while he speaks, and his interview skills are purely average. He asks simple questions that don't leave much room for controversy. It's a Jets show, so I'll continue to watch, but I would really like them to do some more interesting work. My favorite part of the current episode is right at the beginning. The host is talking about the moves the Jets have made so far, going over Mangini, Tanny, contract restructures, trades and signings. Then at the end he says something like "Most intriguing is the trade of All-Pro DE John Abraham" and then just stops. It sounds like he is about to talk about it, and then he just decides, "Nah, I'll just keep this simple."
SNY os brand new, there are going to be issues they have to work out. I like what they are trying to do and it will be pretty good once they fix the production. As of now it almost looks like cable access but they'll work that out.
