Agreed. With a need to replace the offensive coordinator and with people using words like "overhaul", it could mean a few lean years before it gets better. The Jets have room for improvement at a lot of positions. You don't fix that all at once.
at some point that under construction sign has GOT to come down. If we have to wait,then guys like revis will be older. By the time we fix other things then other positions become weaker. I know its not the longest,but ive been waiting 30 years now,i'm tired of waiting.
Yeah, the team was a SB contender last year, but I thought the 09 team would have been Ryan's best one if the QB was different. Favre would have been good on that team.
Manning killed us in 09, but if we didn't have a rookie QB, we could of def gotten to the SB that year, hell if we had an better CB aside Revis the result could of been different, not just the whole rookie QB thing Can't look back now though, as dismal as things have been this season, we can still reach our ultimate goal, it's going to take some serious planning, scouting and evaluation of players and coaches, but this ship hasn't sunk yet, the window is still open
Totally agree. I think that's why I'm so pissed at the way this year has unfolded. The Jets were sooooo close, and now we have taken steps back (11-5 to 9-7 or 8-8, AFC title game to no playoffs). I'm so sick of waiting for the Jets to get to the SB. It's difficult and frustrating to be a fan of this team. The icing on the cake was to have to hear Rex say after yesterdays game, "The Giants are the best team in New York." UGH!!!!!!
Get Manning in the offseason and some competent safeties and we will finally be a superbowl contender, we aren't getting to the superbowl with Sanchez, not sure we can even get to the playoffs. We got lucky last year to even be in the playoffs.
