This probably means Brandon Gibson injury was bad. That guy has had a lot of tough luck. As far as Reggie goes, I'm not sure if there is much in the tank. Don't know if he was hurt, but gave up on a lot of plays in the playoffs last year. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/08/23/report-reggie-wayne-taking-physical-with-patriots/
He was in town before Gibson got hurt, likely has to do with LaFell potentially starting on the PUP. Gibson said he's going to be fine but people who saw him limping say otherwise.
Adam Schefter Reggie Wayne and New England Patriots have reached agreement on a one-year deal, league source told ESPN.
fuck I always liked Reggie Wayne. Wish he would've waited it out a little bit and signed with the Packers... or anyone else really, as that would've been less gay than NE.
Probably known already but official a Patriot now, signe dyesterday, announced today, was practicing today.
Pretty much washed up, you can only imagine what Brady/Cheater would have done with great receivers his whole career
Another guy who can only really contribute in the short/intermediate range as he doesn't have burner speed anymore. They still have to generally rely on Gronk to open things up down the seam. It's annoying because it seems like in theory the offense would be easy to shut down but it's a terror because it's the type of offense that you need to make go the whole field to score without big plays. Brady doesn't turn the ball over so they have no problem going 90 yards in 18 plays.
They paid him WR3ish money. I'm not sure the team believes he's done. He had nearly 800 yards last season iirc and that's coming off of an ACL tear and tearing his triceps. I think he can succeed as the WR3/4th option. The 2nd season back from an ACL tear is usually a better indication of where the player is, however, Wayne will be 37.
