A little late on this, but I usually go out to watch the weekend games with friends. First game sucked, hopefully Beckett throws well tonight.
Hermida and Varitek go back to back. Hopefully not catching everyday will let Varitek just swing for the fences when he is in there, the little power he has is about all he contributes offensively at this point.
Pretty happy we were able to get some runs against Grenks. Beck was great tonight until that ass Getz had that stupid AB against him. Hoping to see Bucky dominate tmrw.
It was pretty scary, Beckett was about 1/100th of a second worth of reaction time from dying on the field. The ball ended up grazing the back of his head, but it could have been much, much worse. I hate seeing stuff like that because it makes me worry the next time I go pitch. My reaction time isn't nearly that good.

it took like a month and a half for ramirez to let in 2 runs last year, it's taken him a week to let in 5.
