Here we go. I'm 2-0 in the postseason making threads, hopefully it can continue! ALCS MVP Josh Beckett vs. Jeff Francis on Wednesday.
It's a shame, I have grown to hate the Red Sox because of shitheads like Bill Bellichicken. I hate that entire city because of the Cheatriots. I know where I stand on this series...... Go Rockies.
Sox in 4. The Rox went on a great run, but they were the weakest team to make the playoffs in the weakest league. This one will be over quick, and it won't even be exciting. The Sox will put a bigger hurt on the rockies than they did the Cards in '04. Having said that, I actually like the Rockies and hope they play well and make a fun series out of it.
this could have the AL rookie of the year, the NL MVP, and the NL Rookie of the Year all playing in it.
I hate the Red Sox because of the shitheads that are their fans. Plus I have a personal reason to root for the Rockies.
I don't know too many Sox fans in Vegas it's mostly a Cub/whichever LA team is better type of town. The only 2 Sox fans I know are allright so it's not their fans for me. I just hate the fact that Boston is king of the sports world. Being a Tri-stater at least when the Giants/Yankees win it's still sorta in the family. Watching the Red Sox/Patriots win a WS and SB is like watching te Germans win WWII. Maybe a bit harsh but it's just as disgusting as that.
Yup, exactly. It's because NYers are bred, just like our counterparts up north, to hate the other side. Hell, the only Sox/and or Pats fans I know are the ones around here, and I like devil, Baron, Murrell, Jack, and wildthing. I just don't want to see them celebrating any of their teams' success. (BTW: I felt the same way growing up about the Pirates, and the Braves in the 90s. I never wanted to see them win.)
When it comes down to it, I could care less who wins the World Series. Once the Yankees are eliminated from the playoffs, it's the off-season for me. However, I'm pulling for the Rockies to win.
If you're a true Yankees fan, there can be only one winner at this point. And they don't play in Bahst'n.
Obviously I want the Sox to win, but my second choice was actually Arizona. I don't know why, but I like them for some reason. And for some other equally unknown reason, I don't like the Rockies.
I have a vague dislike for the "Red Sox Nation" but that's probably outweighed by all the Kaz Matsui nonsense and the Rockies fraudulent stadium. I don't know if I can actually "root" for either of these teams.
I'm not going to say which website, but on a certain website I know of, they have a few of the most obnoxious disgusting people ever sighted on the Internet. All Red Sox/Patriots fans of course. I bet they weren't such big fans back in the '90s.
