The Nationals are one of the worst teams I have ever seen. They have about 15 outfielders on their roster and also have the worst bullpen of all time. Apparently the local news has people share their defining "Nats moments". They evidently overlooked that Washington's franchise has had none, or at least nothing positive. http://mymasn.ning.com/video/2009-defining-moment Fittingly, their best player has worn a "Natinals" jersey for a few of their games. Not sure how that even happens.... Pitching matchups: Tuesday: Penny ( 6-2, 4.94 era) / Lannan (4-5, 3.88 era) Wednesday: Lester (5-6, 4.69 era) / Stammen (1-2, 4.76 era) Thursday: Smoltz (First start)/ Zimmermann (2-3, 5.03 era) I still find it hilarious that the Nats somehow managed to take 2 out or 3 from the Yankees. Every team not named Baltimore in the AL East should sweep these guys. Bryce Harper and Stephen Strasburg can't come soon enough.
YOU STARTED THE THREAD!!!!!!11!!! I HAD A WINNING STREAK etc etc... Can't wait to see Smoltz Thursday.
I don't know what's funnier there, the fact that they spelled it wrong or the fact that they're thanking people for sticking around and there isn't a soul in sight.
Right - my first reaction was that it wasn't a typo. I'll be going to a game at Nats Park against the Marlins in August, and I'm wondering if there are going to be 5000 people in the park.
