Meh, I'm just being realistic. I actually kind of hope the Yankees win so there can be a rematch, but either way I'm fine with it. The Sox are in for sure, so it's no jinx to them. If somehow the Yankees come back, someone can just change the thread title.

I really don't see the big deal. The Sox are in, and I wanted to make the thread, since the last time I did, they swept. I just put the most likely opponent in. I already said I want the Yankees to win so there's a rematch and if they do the title can be changed. I just wanted to be the one to make the thread. It's not a conspiracy to trash talk about the Yankees. If I wanted to do that, I'd be in the Yankee thread ragging on Jeter's fielding or something. Maybe I should start doing that if I'm going to get crap for it anyway.
Whether it's the Patriots or like in this case the Red sox, we've been haring this trash talking bullshit for quite sometime now. I for one, am sick of it. Fortunately for many, they can escape it when they get off the computer. For those of us living in this hellhole...there is no escape...even on a god damn New york Jets fan site.

The sad thing is...He's a lifelong friend. I love him to death...but unfortunately when it comes to sports...he's like everyone else in this area.
Maybe because I've been posting here for 3 years now and this is the BASEBALL FORUM? It's not like I randomly made an account just to post it. I already explained myself, and I don't need to any further. I wanted to make the ALCS thread, and the Indians are by far the more likely team to be the team the Red Sox face, so I made the thread before someone else did. Again, if I really wanted to talk trash, I'd go to the Yankee thread and do it.
