    Probably not worthy of a thread, but I'm so excited. Javier Lopez is gone, and has been replaced with Daniel Bard, a 23-year-old who sits in the high 90s and regularly hits 100 MPH. This is very excited, in part because I want to see what Bard can do, but mostly because I hate Javier Lopez with a burning passion that consumes my soul.

    I'll cheer louder when Clay hits the starting rotation again, but I'm excited to see this kid in a real-live MLB game.

    You know whats even more exciting? Just about every young talent on this team is locked up long term. And you know what? The owner actually has the money to pay these guys.

    Very young and exciting, these kids here in 2009.

    Although if Daniel Bard's first name was John, it'd be the same thing all over again.

    With all this talent plus youth this year is going to be an extremely awesome one for the Sox!!!!!
