Suck would be a better word, but I thought some restraint was needed.

They all look clueless. Would you trust any of these people with your personal affairs and not expect them to screw it up? Heck, Al Groh wasn't even worth mentioning. Besides I could only include 5 pics per post as per forum rules.

The coachs in our more recent history have really sucked, save Parcells. At least he had a strong resume. The rest were miserable failures. Mangini looks to be following the same path. He was a poor choice. He came with nothing more on his resume other than working for a great HC. One you know would give a guy like Mangini little in terms of absolute responsibility.

Mangini never seems to have the team prepared to play a lesser opponent. That is not the mark of a great HC. THe team will go as far as he can direct them which will be to 500.

You can't put Herm in with those other guys, Herm won a division title and at least a couple of playoff games.

Yeah, if Mangini was a good coach, he would teach his players not to muff punts or trip over themselves or throw ridiculous interceptions.

Come on. Some people get lucky once in a while. He had no clue at how to run a game. He continues that tradition in KC. Our only hope is that next week he bungles more than Mangini. He still doesn't know how to manage the clock. That may be our only hope.

Believe what you want. I don't see any SB rings on his fingers now or in the future - well not as HC.

Then you should add a picture of Parcells.

Parcells won two SBs. The rest have won nothing and have proved they are incapable of winning. Besides, Parcells built the team that Edwards took over and he still screwed it up.

Parcells won less playoff games then Herm as Jet HC. Wake up.

You're kidding right? He backed into the playoffs a couple of times...

I think we need a new owner as well. Woody has NO clue about football.

Exactly. It's not that Woody is incapable of doing the right thing on any given occasion or on a given matter. But overall he has no vision for this team or for what NFL success requires. Personally my guess is this team will not get it done as long as he's the owner.

Yeah, we need an owner who will not only spend $140 million in the off-season, build a state of the art training facility and a new stadium, but also suit up and pick up the blitz. Woody must go!

Good coaches do more with less.

The above coaches, including our current staff, are doing less with more.

I'll take a talented coach like Parcells and a less talented team over what we have now any day of the week.

Just Yesterday, Herm did NOT challenge a FG that was good but the refs called No good. Herm also decided to kick a FG, down 27-0 at the 3 yard line with only minutes to go.

But the pictures posted are not exactly Lombardi, Knoll or Walsh.

Parcells went 9-7 with essentially the same team that was 1-15 under Kotite.

I do agree Herm did a better job here than people give him credit for. Chad covered up a lot of Herm's inability to manage the game and clock, any time he was out it exposed Herm's weakness there.

I am with you shade tree. Herm should hardly be on the list with those coaches. Mangini is not done yet so he should not be on the list either, but time will tell whether he earns his spot on that esteemed list. But Herm hardly belongs on a list with the likes of Rick Kotite.

If we had our 98 coaching staff with our current roster, I would be singing Super Bowl all season long.

Instead, I'm whining because of PSLs and a gloomy outlook on this team's future.

Our 98 staff is one of the all time staffs, though. Look at the names, it's unbelievable we ever lost.

Heh. Al Groh quit just in time to not end up on your "wall of shame". At least he left the Jets with a winning record (9-7). Not too many Jets coaches can say that.

Vinny was our QB and Curtis was our RB. Neither is really great or anything. Cu Mart was solid and wouldn't lose the game, but he wasn't going to win it especially against a really good team.

As for Vinny, they had him play way above his ability, that much is obvious.
