This is what I gathered watching professional sports.. The Jets are going to hire a Big Name Coach.. One with 3-4 experience.. They don't want to go into a new stadium in a rebulding mode.. They will have an established QB(BF) if not him some one else. They believe when they were 8-3 a SB team foundation is there.. They plan on have a winning team next year. So please stop with this KC, BR nonsense.. Ain't going to happen with that brand new stadium.. Some of these off the wall coaches.. Who knows I don't think it will happen.. This is all about getting the $$$ for the new stadium.. Just look at what the Yanks did going into their new stadium... So lets please get real for a second...

I'm going to predict KC is the starter for week one. I don't know why, but the only pass I always think of when I think of KC is the perfect spiral to McCareins that was dropped in the Ravens game. That one pass makes me want to see him out there again. Of course, the next pass I think of is the interception return against the Pats while he's getting crushed, but whatever.

I would agree I would like to see what BR and KC can do...But it won't happenn next year.. Not going into a brand new stadium and then having a losing season..

If that happens, I'll be dissappointed. I like to see the guys we develop get a fair shot.

The Lions did it in 2002. Why can't we? Spending money doesn't guarantee success (see this season).

This is what I gather from reading your post.

Your trying to pass off your opinion as a reality check when its just your personal thoughs and little more.

My suggestion for a reality check is to let the dust settle before going off on more tirades and hand-wringing and blasting everyone in sight.

The season ended in clusterfuck style, the HC was fired and now we have a typical off season to watch other teams play in the playoffs. Of course, i dont pay for seasons or a PSL, so I dont have a financial interest in the outcome. But like I said last week, dont invest your life and your life savings into this. There are other important things in life. My health aint too good, and who knows what will happen in 2009, but just count your blessings and make the best of the situsation.

So, just let the dust settle from the implosions of the past week, and let's see what pieces are added- especially a new HC and co-ords, and HAVE A HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Do you really think they want to go into a New stadium without a Big Name coach that fits the players on the roster and go in with a Big Name QB? You don't open a stadium in a rebuliding mode... Sit and Ponder that..
