Have anyone created the rookies in Madden '07?
I wonder how high you rate the players and so.
    I rated Revis 83, Harris 78 and even created Leonard Peters @ a 73. :)

Peters will be one of those guys like McClover used to be, low ratings, but still a good player because of some really high attributes, I bet he will be easy to work up to a high grade in season mode

Hehe, I rated Peters so high because I wanted him to start. I dont think it will be that way in the reality.

mcclover was a fun madden player to develop bc of the speed...2 years back they had the flaw with olb blitzing
mcclover would have 20+ sack seasons and defensive mvp with a 70 rating...it was a bad flaw
i dont think peters will even be on the new madden out in august...he's going to have to prove to be a beast special teamer to even be on the jets

Why so high? Harris was a second rounder so the best you could hope for is 78-80 and while revis was a top 15 pick...it doesn't equate to being nearly rated a 90! Revis is a 81-84.

EA will probably rate Revis around a 83-80 and Harris will end up being 79-76.
Reggie Bush, arguably one of the best players of all time was rated 88 in 2007, they aren't gonna rate a corner picked out of the top 10, even if he was the first corner selected higher than 84.

Still good ratings, because they are rookies, and you can build them up.

Revis is gonna have nice hands and great agility...probably around 94-92speed. Harris will be a little slow for a linebacker, but he'll probably be aware and make plenty of tackles.

At least that's what I'm hoping for.

I remember just a couple years ago it was outrageous that a rookie was like an 83. I like it that nowadays they rate them higher, it is a more realistic perspective as to a rookies potential.

What I dislike is that they base it pretty much solely on where the player is drafted. It would be much better if they had a guy that went later on in round one rated as high as a guy that went early - like in the case that he is the first player at his position selected.

I don't know if that came out right, but what I'm trying to say is a guy like Greg Olsen, he's the first TE taken this year, but will probably be rated alot lower than the first linebacker taken - just because he went later in the draft.

like how lamarr woodley may be rated the same or higher than david harris because he was a pick earlier even though harris was slated as david harris. or how alan branch will be rated a decent amount lower than justin harrell even though branch is clearly the better player
