I like the jets aggressive stance in looking at QBs. I still think they should use their #1 (or one of their 1s if they move Abe for a 1) for a QB or RB. If they want a veteran QB to compete with Pennington, I like Ramsey or McNown before Kitna. Nothing against Kitna, but the other two offer at least the posibility of being our FUTURE QB, not just a stop gap. I think all three are about the same level of talent though. If they get one of these, I'd like to see a trade down and a stud RB in round 1. I think the jury is still out on whether Houston is a starting HB, and I'm convinced Blaylock and Martin are not our future there.
Kitna is a guy that can mentor a QB next season if Chad flops. Give him a three-year deal... the first he will be there as a motivation for Chad. And for the 2nd and 3rd he'll either be a mentor for a young QB or he'll be backing up Chad and making Chad know that one mistake could cost him the job.
