I think it has nothing to do with what they plan on doing #1 overall.

Guy was slated to make $2.5 mil over the next two years. In fact, at that price, I have no idea why you wouldn't hold onto him for another year.

I think this is more about opening the door for Osi, but that would sure make things interesting. They are pretty terrible up the middle. Sam Bradford

I am intrigued to see if Carriker can excel in a 3-4 and reignite his career. I always thought he was a better fit for a 3-4 than a 4-3. I would have liked to see the Jets acquire him for a little.

i don't think the Rams like Bradford as much as everyone thinks they do......I bet Suh is taken 1st overall.

They very well could. But dealing a guy who will make a paltry $1 mil next season will have nothing to do with it IMO.

That does indeed make things very interesting. It also makes me curious what would happen to Bradford at that point. Obviously the next four teams on the list wouldn't take him. Could Bradford conceivably be a Seahawk? What an absolute waste it would be trading for Whitehurst if Bradford fell in their laps.

i don't think Bradford falls past Oakland.....Crazy Al would poop his pants if he had a shot at him without having to trade up.

    That is....if Cleveland doesn't bite.

Honestly, this is the first time in a long time where I have no effin clue how the first 10 picks will go.

    Good job, Delaney.

And I think if they(Rams) pass on a QB yet again, their entire FO is certifiable.

I don't think they pass on a QB, but every mock out there puts McCoy in their laps if they pass on Bradford. It's an interesting idea at the very least.

And if the Seahawks don't bite. At the very least, with how much Carroll loves competition, it's possible that they take him...or that they trade out with Buffalo.

I'd rather see Bradford than Clausen go to Buffalo, personally.

What if the Rams took Suh at #1, then traded back up to the top 10 (#5 or #10) using the 1st pick in the 2nd round this year, and next year's #1 as the base of a package, and selected Clausen/Bradford?

I don't think Crazy Al will ever admit that the Russell pick was a wrong one.

Not enough value to do that. A #1 next year has the same value as a #2 this year. We wouldn't have enough value in our whole draft to move up to the Top 5. 2 #2s would certainly not get the Rams there.

Sure, assuming he's there. If he's not? Flacco, Ryan, Sanchez, Bradford, Clausen, McCoy.

But they do have Null and possibly Tebow. Talk about a stellar QB core.

It really seems like a sensible move. Suh is the best interior line prospect in years and what assurances are there that Bradford will be a better pro than McCoy, or even Clausen if he should drop back into a decent range.

I've never seen a guy skate on questions better than Bradford. The kid must be a charmer. Oklahoma doesn't produce pro quarterbacks and his shoulder, while fine now, has still been damaged. I would think people would be more inclined to question his status, but I guess Clausen is such a dbag that no one is.

The Rams have made a million mistakes over the years at QB (starting with Namath..not paying him) but if they pass on Bradford to sign Suh then they deserve to be thrown out of the league. Don't get me wrong I love Suh but he will do absolutely nothing to make the Rams respectable. You build a team around a QB not around a LB/DL

Buuuut...if STL isn't convinced that Bradford is a future franchise QB, or if they think McCoy is a comparable talent, then Suh would make sense.

It goes without saying that Suh is a superior talent as a D-lineman than Bradford is as a QB, but QB is the more important, premium position.

I'd still be surprised if Bradford wasn't a Ram.
