Don't know if we have the picks/players or cap space to do this, but I would love to have a boy named Suh plugged into the middle of our line for the next decade.
I saw this on the main forum and I knew there could only be a handful of posters who would make it. Why in the world would we try to trade up AN ENTIRE ROUND for one player? It would involve us losing both our #1 next year AND #2 this year. 3 picks for a guy who doesn't fit our system? Wow...
The Jets have absolutely 0 chance of trading up for the #1 pick from 29. They'd basically have to trade their whole draft, plus like 2 future firsts.
The combination of what we'd have to give up and the contract we'd have to give him would make this not worth it. Suh is an absolute monster though.
Gsour ambebrilliant, you nkow that! Let's trade up, give away most of the farm, for a guy who doesn't fit the system. Oh, wrong forum as well.
Though I would not trade up at all, I think that if a 3-4 team drafted Suh it would be to play end ala Richard Seymour.
Uh, I understand the people saying we have no chance of getting him...thats correct... but he would slide in perfectly as a 3-4 DE in our system, 6-4, 305 that is nearly ideal size for that position, saying he wouldn't fit is wrong.
