Personally I don't see the Jets passing on BOTH Flacco and Brohm if they're there in the 2nd round. Otherwise, nice job.

Seriously? I don't see any QB in this draft as a better prospect than Clemens was coming out. I just think this is an average batch and would put us in no better situation with any of them around.

Actually I think at least one will be gone before our pick but only in the event of a trade.

There are quite a bit of reaches in the first round.

I can't complain about the Jets picks though, but I would like to see us take a defensive linemen somewhere.

I dont think NYJ goes with a FB, they will stick with Tony Richardson for that position. Not sure if I like the Porter pick even though management is sort of high on him I suppose.

No way Giants would take Dan Connor over Jerod Mayo in that mock hell I might think of taking him for us also if they didnt would make an incredible lb core for us

Calais Campbell is now considered a reach in the first round.

I dont see any way that Herm Edwards' Chiefs pick Long over Gholston.

Gholston is more of a pass rusher. Long is more of threat against the run.

Yeah, Herm is supposedly in love with VG. I don't see Long falling past the Raiders either.

    Mario Urrutia = 6-6 / 220

    I'll take him.

I see Long as a 4-3 End and Gholston as a 3-4 OLB and not vice-versa. I don't think either would do well in the other schemes.

That's decent for us I'd say...

I do see the Rams filling a big hole at DE with the 2nd pick as they took Adam Carricker in the 1st last year and Clifton Ryan looks like a steal.

Overall I'd be OK with that draft for us

I think he'll have to bulk up and move to H-back if he's ever going to become a decent player. I don't think he is strong enough to move to TE. I don't think he can the WR position in the NFL. He's just not good enough. I saw a bunch of Louisville games and Harry Douglas was the better WR on that team.
I will be surprised if Urrutia plays in the NFL for more than 4 years.
