Another ridiculous contract from Mr Walking Dead.

What does that make Nmadi worth?

At least Al is consistent. I had almost lost hope when he waited until the 4th round to draft Bruce Campbell.

we should make "Crazy Shit Al Davis Just Did" thread.

we have him unable to use the buy back option on Wimbley, giving Nmadi a crazy contract, giving this corner Routt a crazy contract, and the Seymour contract. Oh yeah, and firing the Head Coach who swept his division, and got the team to 8-8.

He's actually a very good player. Not a lot of fans know about him because he plays cornerback for a team that hasn't been good since 2002.

Aso gets all the credit but the Raiders have a very good and deep secondary.

Routt is a good player deserving of a serious contract. Even if $10 mil per year is a premium, why else would he want to stay in Oakland?

What's funny is that they justify this by saying that Routt and Asomugha were the best CB duo in the league (Revis and Cro 2nd best according to stats).
But... mmm... couldn't that have something to do with, I don't know, maybe ASOMUGHA and not as much with Routt? Imbecilles.

Oh come on... the Raiders over paid but I bet you no team will give 8 mill to Cro considering how much of a head-case he is.

I'm very confident this strategy of letting Cro hit the market and test the waters before re-signing is the right thing to do.
