I watched him being blocked and while being blocked, grab Henry and pull him down with one arm, many people on here dont understand how good he is, but he def is a major part of this defense.
Quinnen Williams needs to thank Rankins for all the success he is having. Rankins is an absolute monster and is allowing the interior to feast right now
Weird that he barely played half the snaps yesterday. Are we still trying to work him back into the rotation slowly? Or is this just a product of the defensive scheme? Edit: Rankins as well. I’m assuming this is a scheme thing.
Titans had around 80 snaps, Q played 59 which was around 20 more then he played in any of the earlier games. He basically played the bulk of snaps with JFM and Rankins who had around the same number. https://www.footballguys.com/subscribers/teams/teampage-nyj-6.php
If he played 59 snaps and that’s 59% of the defensive snaps wouldn’t that mean the Titans had 100 plays? Something has to be off. Either way, regardless of the number it looks like it’s a scheme thing. Whatever it is, it’s working.
I must admit I’m pleasantly surprised. I very much thought he’d go the route of couples, Leo, mo and sheldon-early pop and then fade off-bit he appears to be sticking arojnsd!
Saleh wants to keep his DL fresh, so he wants 8 DL that he can rotate. He has said that numerous times.
I think Saleh said that ideally Q would be getting around 80% of the defensive snaps so if he's at 60% currently, I would assume they have a snap count in mind for him right now. He was very rusty in the first 2 games and I doubt he is playing at full strength or full confidence yet, but the Tenn game looked a lot like the Big Cuddly we're familiar with.
