FA signings: FS Oshiomogho Atogwe and DE Chris Canty

    1) Rey Mauluga, ILB
    2) Josh Freeman, QB
    3) Mark Parson, CB
    4) Jarron Gilbert, DE
    5) Cody Brown, OLB
    6) Sammie Lee Hill, DT
    7) Mike Wallace, WR/ST/RS

Mauluga and Harris team up in the middle. Freeman is a QB who has gotten better every year on a bad team and has all the tools to be a very good NFL QB. He can wait behind Kellen and compete with Ratliff where he will win the competition. He has a huge arm to boot. Parson is one of the best man-to-man CBs in the nation, he has very good speed and great instincts and awareness. This gives us 3 good CBs with Revis, Parson and Lowery. Rhodes and Atogwe would make a scary S tandem and make our secondary very good overall. Our OLBs are Pace, Gholston, Thomas and Brown. I think Cody Brown would be a very good 3-4 OLB as he is inbetween OLB and rush DE right now despite his only being 6'2. He could make a nice pass rush specialist for us. Gilbert would give us a very good developmental prospect at DE to learn behind Ellis and to team up with Canty for a long time. Sammie Lee Hill is a very good NT developmental prospect who dominated his level of play at Stillman. He can learn behind Jenkins and be good depth for us. He is 6'4 and 330 lbs. Mike Wallace could be a major steal here. He has elite speed (4.32) and good size (6'0 and 190 lbs). In 2007 he had only 38 catches for a whopping 716 yards and 6 TDs and also had a KR TD. In 2008 he only had 39 catches (one more than the previous year) for a whopping 784 yards and 7 TDs, 10 rushes for 92 yards, and another KR TD. He is also a kick returner and in 2007 averaged 23 yards per return and improved upon that in 2008 by averaging 24.6 yards per return. This kid is a true home run threat. He had a TD in the Senior Bowl.

Needs for the 2010 draft: OLB (Everson Griffen, George Selvie, Ricky Sapp), WR (Arrelious Benn, Dez Bryant, Damian Williams, Brandon LaFell), RT (Okung, Williams, Ulatoski, Young, Black, Davis, Wang, Schilling, Ziemba), RG (Render, Hudson, Wiesnewski, Ramsey, Doering, McClendon), blocking TE.

    2010 draft preview
    1) Arrelious Benn, WR
    2) George Selvie, OLB/DE
    3) LeGarrette Blount, RB
    4) Lee Ziemba, RT
    5) Weslye Saunders, TE
    6) Jeff Byers, OG
    7) Kellen Heard, NT

A stud WR, a stud but undersized DE (moves to 3-4 OLB), a big power RB, a good young RT, a good blocking TE that can also catch, a promising OG who has been out with injuries for the past 2 seasons, and a monstrous NT for depth.

No holes left on the team.

Don't like Josh Freeman at all. I'd rather take a guy like Rhett Bomar a little further down in the draft.

    From a previous thread:

Mike Wallace won't last until the 7th round...especially if he actually runs in the 4.3's.

Cody Brown is a guy that I've liked as an OLB for about a month now. That pick, the Gilbert pick, and the Maualuga pick make this mock halfway decent. I actually agree with about something.
