I was just proposed this trade and I am strongly considering it.

    I Give Up
    Miguel Cabrera
    Alex Rios
    Grady Sizemore

    I Get
    David Wright
    Alfonso Soriano
    Coco Crisp

so the question is, should i make the trade or not?

wow, that's tough. Wright is marginally better than Cabrera. Soriano is considerably better than Rios. Sizemore is considerably better than Crisp.

I would do it, the difference between Soriano/Rios is greater than Sizemore/Crisp. Though it seems like a trade just for the purpose of making a trade.

    Cabrera > Wright
    Rios < Soriano
    Sizemore > Crisp

Don't do it. Unless you think Crisp is going to have a big year and Rios won't continue to develop.

After looking at last year, Cabrera and Wright were nearly identical, but after seeing this more, and Crisp's year last year was more of an anomaly, his normal year is pretty close to Rios, and Soriano is clearly the best of the bunch so it is up to you

You give up the better talent package but get back the best player in the trade.
I would do it since what you should get out of Soriano would out weigh any difference of you getting the weekest player(crisp) in the deal.

I'd do it in a heart beat... sizemore can be replaced... post the rest of your team

    Wright = Cabrera
    Rios<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< Sori
    Sizemore > crisp

I wouldn't do it, though i have to say everyone is comparing it weird.
compare Wright to Cabrera wright is better, but not by a ton
compare Soriano and Sizemore (much better than comparing each to a much worse player) Soriano but not by much, I'd expect a decline from him, and sizemore is a rising star.
Rios assuming he's healthy is better than even a healthy crisp, and crisp has looke miserable against lefties and could end up in a platoon with Wily Mo Pena.
    I wouldn't take it, but it's close.

Cabrera is pretty clearly the best player in this deal. I guess you can call Soriano and Sizemore a push, if Soriano comes close to his numbers last year, he'll have the edge in HR's and SB's, those are about the only advantages I can see to this deal for you. Of course if Soriano regresses to his 04-05 form then the deal looks even worse for you.

I don't see any reason to even think about trading Cabrera and Sizemore unless the offer absolutely blew you away.
