Question re: Ty Law

    In all the madness of the coaching changes and player cuts, I seem to have lost track of the status of Ty Law. Can anybody tell me if he is a free agent because we gave him a short contract, or if he has already been released? Thanks!

    He was released. Actually, it was a mutual agreement to decline the option, making there be little, if any, cap hit.

    Ty was released the second week of February. He and 5 other players were released at the same time.

    Ahh, thanks fellas! I sort of figured he'd be gone. February seems so long ago for some reason.

    ty law was overpaid in my opinion and i was happy to see the salary saved
