This defense blows outside of Harris, Jenkins, Cromartie, and Revis. All of the rest of the guys are vastly overrated. A lot of big names with very little production.
Ourt D wasn't considered elite last year, we were very good but not great last year. We are a BAD defense this year, if we had last years D this year we'd still be alive for the div and #1 seed.
Yes they are elite, just ask them!......38 points to one of the worst Offense's in the NFL statistically.....fucking brutal.

Our defense needs a wholesale overhaul. Both outside linebackers should be replaced, we also need a safety, and a D lineman.
They have proven themselves to be an average defense. They are capable of playing very well and very bad.
Once teams figured out how to stop our exotic blitzes it became apparent that we couldn't pressure the quarterback, and even with Revis and Cromartie, good quarterbacks with time, will find open receivers against the rest of our secondary.
I don't think there's very much "exotic" about these blitzes. If there ever was before, there isn't anymore.
Good point, I guess in my mind any blitz involving corners or multiple defensive backs is still exotic, but in today's NFL they are pretty much the norm.
Inconsistant team. Either the defense sucks or the offense sucks. Can't play good on both sides of the ball. Damn shame....24 TDs this season vs. 8 last year. Defense needs to step it up for the playoffs.
