Only the Jets could see a scenario in which two of the highest ranked QBs in the NFL are players that the Jets kicked to the curb on their rookie contracts (Smith & Darnold) while the QB that was supposed to be our new franchise QB is warming a bench and a HOF player that was brought in at great cost to carry the Jets to the Superbowl and who hand picked his team is ranked the 5th worst QB in the league amongst those that have thrown for 1000yds or more (i.e. a starter). If it wasn't for the Browns then it is hard to imagine any team that has handled the QB position worse than the Jets in the last decade.
