http://www.palmbeachpost.com/dolphins/content/sports/epaper/2007/03/21/0321dolphinsfeed.html Looks like it's almost a done deal, and I for one couldn't be happier. Anything that will get Culpepper the hell out of here is fine by me. Now we can do it right, and draft a young QB to groom behind Green...
if hermie doesnt want him, he must be done...for god's sake, Herm called vinny up when he was sitting on the coach eating potato chips and chugging beer
Hey, for a 7th round pick, it's not all bad. I just don't want anything more to do with that bum Culpepper anymore.... I know I was talking garbage last off-season and all, but I've learned a valuable lesson in the process. It wont happen again. As for Green, at least he's got some solid football smarts. Culpepper was a moron who couldn't even make a decision behind center....
Honestly Blitz, if I were you, I'd be cautious, but inside, pretty psyched.... at the VERY least, he will serve as a great mentor for whoever your QB of the future is.... I think he's got 1 or 2 more years of solid production left in him. The Hermie run the ball 50 times a game O canmake any Qb look mediocre...
because he proved that point in Minnesota? no offense, i like you and all, but that was common with all the Qb's on Miami last year....
Damn, that really puts things back into perspective for me. I was a major ass huh??? Sorry about that, it wont happen again....
I know you hate me...that's OK...But just admit you were a Cpep fan ....although I know you wanted Brees more....Saban was an idol to you.. Getting a old QB on a rebuilding team is not the way to go. Green did well with a team that had a amazing O Line....Miami is far from a good O Line.
Green will not start in Miami. That's my prediction. I think that Brady Quinn is going to fall to Miami, Green will be his back-up, and Culpepper will be dropped. Either way, you can put Quinn, Green, Culpepper, Peyton, Elway, or whoever else you want behind that line and they're still going to be under a lot of pressure unless Miami fixes their shitty O-line (which, after Porter and Green, they won't have much money to do).
I don't hate you, I deserve everything I have coming.... I would sure love to see Mueller go out and draft a couple of studs like you guys did with Brick / Mangold last year, but that's a long shot as we well know. However, I don't think our OL will be all bad this year. We need a LT, and LG, but other than that, it's not as bad as it seems. Culpepper made it look a lot worse than it was in my opinion. We'll see though, maybe with a smart Qb like Green under center, those quick decisions will help, who knows??....
I think it's a decent move by the dolphins, but not one that frightens me. At least he'll have less pressure on him than Culpepper.
   yea........me too. they should sign Steve Beuerlein he looked ready to play on his nutriskim cameo.
Its funny right! When they got him all i heard was "superbowl this Superbowl that" "he was MVP type player not too long ago"....i hate all miami fans....such bandwagons :finssuck:
