I recently came across a thread(http://www.footballsfuture.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=11887994) on another site that used stats to illustrate the progression and eventual decline of a QB's skills. This image illustrates qb rating by year of experience: http://img402.imageshack.us/img402/4908/experiencej.jpg Sanchez was below average for his rookie year (63.0) and slightly above average for his second year (75.3). If his progression continues to be close to the curve he should have a QB rating around 80.0 this year. It's just interesting after reading so much criticism (from opposing fans and journalists),the reality is Sanchez's regular season performance is right about where it should be based on his experience. So the question is if Mark continues to follow the curve would you be happy with a guy who is average for his years of experience during the regular season but plays at a higher level in the playoffs? Of course the easy answer is as long as he wins a Super Bowl or two who cares about his numbers!
