This is a very tough year for QBs, in my opinion. Here's how I see the field.

It starts with Peyton. That's easy enough.

Then you have Brees, Palmer, and Brady. I have no idea what order these guys should be in but I'm inclined to say Palmer then Brees then Brady.

    Then I like Bulger.

Then it's a mess. There's McNabb, who can be great but isn't 100%. There's Hasselbeck whose team is on the decline and also is coming off injuries. There's Jon Kitna who is just terrible but is in the best situation possible.

Then you have the young guys. Phil Rivers. Matt Leinart. Jay Cutler. Tony Romo. Vince Young is there but I'm too worried about him as an injury risk.

So what order do you like these guys in?

    1) Peyton Manning - Do I need to explain this?

    2) Carson Palmer - Just a great player, throwing the ball to two great recievers, with a nice power running attack to keep defenses honest.

    3) Drew Brees - Great numbers the past three seasons, doubt he can reproduce last year's stats, but will still be great.

    4) Marc Bulger - Always has huge numbers, finally has a TE to throw to, as well as the addition of Brian Leonard, who, if he's on the field with Steven Jackson is just another awesoem reciever. People say the recievers are getting old, yet Holt is still performing like he's in his prime, Bruce is reliable as always.

    5) Tom Brady - It really is a tough call between him and Bulger, and I know he finally has his own recievers, but I just can't find it in me to pick him

    6) Donovan McNabb - If he stays healthy, will outperform most of the top 5 (CBS Sportsline has a table of points per game, and McNabb is actually the clear winner from last season, beating out Manning)

    7) Jon Kitna - If your in a league that doesn't penalize INTs then he can be higher. he's in a system that throws almost 70% of the time, and he did awesome (yards/TDs at elast) with Williams and Furrey. Add Calvin Johnson into the mix and he will be even better.

    8) Tony Romo - Put up great numbers when he first came in, then got the jitters and had a few bad weeks. I'm expecting him to get back to form and have a great season.

    9) Jay Cutler - Did an awesome job at the end of last season, I expect him to continue that, plus I think defenses are going to have their hands full with Travis Henry, giving Cutler plenty of time and room to throw.

    10) Philip Rivers - Anybody with LT and Antonio Gates can put up decent numbers. And I'm expecting Vincent Jackson to step it up BIG TIME this year.

    11) Matt Leinart - I would have him higher, but from what I've heard, the Cards are going to be running alot more, which negates the Fitz/Boldin presence.

    12) Matt Hasselbeck - Was once a top flight fantasy QB, but I just don't see it any more, especially after an injury-laden season.

    13) Vince Young - If only they did ANYTHING to get him some help. Lost their top RB, lost their top WR, added NOTHING!

    14) Brett Favre - Will get his yards and TDs one way or another (and by that I mean along with an equal amount of picks). Donald Driver may be hurt, which will certainly affect Favre.

    15) Ben Roethlisberger - Spread offense should help him, plus he didn't have any fuck ups this offseason yet (....hope I didn't jinx him)

    16) Eli Manning - God I hate him. Waaaaaayyyyyy too inconsistent + no Tiki. If he could get his act together he might be good......but I doubt that ever happens

    17) Jake Delholmme - Was once one of the most under rated fantasy QBs, now he's appropriately labeled as average, a decent bye week fill in and spot-starter. No other weapons aside from Steve Smith hurt him.

    18) Chad Pennington - God I hate him. Average at best TDs and yards, high interceptions.

    19) Alex Smith - Should probably be higher, but I just don't trust him yet, even with his revamped arsenal.

    20) Jason Campbell - Same as Alex Smith, just don't trust him. i think this kids gonna be good though, maybe not fantasy-wise, but he's a player

    21) Rex Grossman - Showed flashes of brilliance last year. But also showed flashes of mental retardation. If only he could be more consistent.

    22) Steve McNair - No longer the stud he once was, but he does have a trusty vet in Derrick Mason and an upcoming WR in Mark Clayton, might ahve a few hot games.

    23) Jeff Garcia - Played well last season in Philly when he had the chance.....unfortunately he's not in Philly any more.

    24) JP Losman - They really need a reciever other than Lee Evans on that team.

    25) Matt Shaub - He's sure to have at least one nice stat - most sacks.

    26) Trent Green - Washed up QB playing on a questionable team. If Chambers can play like he did a few years ago, Ronnie Brown can break out, and Ted Ginn can play like he was drafted to, then Green may actually put together a decent season. But that's too many "ifs" for me.

    27) Josh McCown - Might actually put up decent numbers, but likely will not play the whole season.

    28) Joey Harrington - If only he could run like Vick

    29) Tavaris Jackson - Minny's offense sucks

    30) Byron Leftwich/Dave Garard - I'm betting they split starts

    31) Brodie Croyle - I will never rate a Herm QB highly, plus he's Brodie Croyle

I don?t like drafting a QB in the early rounds, so i won?t get one of the top QBs (manning, palmer, brees, brady and bulger. in that order). I don?t like what?s comming then, so i won?t go for a QB before round 7. I?m targeting Kitna, Hasselbeck, Rivers, Young, Cutler, Roethlisberger or Leinart (in that order) in rounds 7-9.

That?s the way i solve this.
