Is it possible with Qs size and incredible athletic ability that he can play edge in a 4-3 scheme ? I’m thinking a Shawn Ellis type or in a wet dream maybe a Reggie White?
This is reminiscent of when Sheldon Richardson used to play LB so the Jets could play all their 1st round DLs at the same time. It was a terrible idea then and still is. Unfortunately these ideas are inevitable when you strengthen a position group that was already a strength QW wins on the inside with athleticism, hand usage and leverage. He doesn't have the speed, change of direction not bend to play on the outside.
Hes an interior pass rusher, they can throw him at nose in certain packages with Henry Anderson and Leo
Need him to be Kris Jenkins... then i’ll love this pick. D hasn’t been the same since he went down... god damn he was a beast in the middle
Quinnen gonna have a lot on his back once they get rid of Leo. Not saying they will...but it makes more sense than shedding Le'Veon.
Exactly. Anyone who thinks Q Williams going to play NT fulltime is smoking something. I don't care where he played in college , as it's a whole another game in the Pro's. The abuse a NT takes isn't condusive to a long career.( why you won't see the third pick in the draft play it fulltime).
I think he'd do best as an interior 4-3 lineman. He reminds me of Suh, but with a better personality.
I should've been more specific. The pacing starts at 8:00 a.m. regardless of game time, the chunks start rising at 8:30. If it's an 8:30 p.m. Thurs. night game or a MNF game, the pacing starts around noon, chunks begin their ascent @ 12:30. Forget it if it's a significant game or a game with playoff implications. The pacing commences three days before KO.
