Putting the Houston game into perspective

    The Texans D held the #5 (PPG) ranked Bengals offense to 6 points the week before us and the #7 ranked Saints offense to 6 points the week after us. We scored 17. Doesn't look so bad after all.

    I had a bigger problem with TJ freakin Yeats shredding our 100 million dollar D.

    Yeah, I agree. That was definitely the bigger issue.

    We're still talking about it because it went from a favorable matchup to a nightmare in the span of 3 weeks with the Texans coming on like gangbusters on defense and Mangold getting hurt.

    There's such a thing as catching a team at the wrong time. If we could've switched the Texans game with either the Eagles or Raiders game on the schedule we'd have 2 more wins.

    It's why I say the NFL is truly unpredictable (unless you're a team like the Pats, and even then, nothing is guaranteed).
