People say that Notre Dame has it easy all the way up to USC but I don't think that's the case. Yeah we play Army and Airforce in the last few weeks but tough shit. Take a look at Miami or Penn State over these years. Purdue has beaten the Irish recently in 2004 and 2003. Of course teams change and ND should be more than enough to handle the Boilermakers on Saturday. It's an afternoon game. Good, this time I don't have to Tivo it.... Predictions?
Sorry, Dino, but I gotta admit, not only should we be 10-1 come the game against USC, but we should win every game by at least 3 TDs. We have 7 straight joke games. I only hope that we exploit these as much as possible to try to pull us up in the rankings. And we better not lose haha.
I'm not saying we're losing but I am saying Purdue isn't a pushover and the players better realize that otherwise it's gonna be Michigan all over. I think we have a couple good teams to play still.
reality has set in in irish land in dinos mind important first step. the next step is realizing ND sucks, you can do it dino.
Shut up hater. My posts above go towards the minds of the players. Those guys need to be prepared and not act like it's a cake walk. I don't want any upsets. I want my year to be happy as a fan.
I'm thinking: Notre Dame 41 Purdue 27 With one of Purdue's TD's coming in the last 5 minutes and not really mattering.
This should be a beating. I can't imagine the Boilermakers doing much of anything on offense, and the Irish should be able to bury them early anyway.
Isn't this a nice article. http://purduesports.cstv.com/sports/m-footbl/spec-rel/092606aal.html
I predict that Purdue will play closer to ND than most people think in the first half. They're just outclassed though, don't expect an upset.
ND sure is layin on a whoopin. That really pissed me off how Purdue caught that break when the coverage ran into one another. One other thing Iv'e been waiting for is Walker. It's about time this animal has been unleashed. Walker is highly underrated.
I really wanted 1 more TD to make it 42 Irish points. The one thing that bothered me most of al in this game was Weis' 2nd half play calling. I don't agree on some of his decisions there. It's like he let up a bit. Like I said earlier. Purdue wasn't some pushover. Great game by Walker and Quinn though. 4-1.
