I don't really post much the past couple years, but have been a member of this board since it first started. I CAN'T STAND WHEN PEOPLE SUPPORT PSL'S NOT UNDERSTANDING WHAT THEY ARE. So many people on this board confuse PSL's with a one time charge where they own that seat and then do not have to pay for tickets.... The PSL is in ADDITION TO the excess of 100 dollars per seat you have to shell out for each game. The tickets have been in my family since 1965 and it sickens me that I am not going to be able to afford a seat license. While I can afford the 100 dollars a ticket, I can not afford 10 grand for a seat license on top of the ticket prices.

BOTTOM LINE IS DO NOT SUPPORT SEAT LICENSES IF YOU DO NOT HAVE SEASON TICKETS!, OR UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY EVEN ARE!

    Thank you

I don't think anyone is really in support of the PSL's. I feel for your situation, but thats the big bussiness of the NFL. Everyone who's in it is in it to make money. Are they are, and will continue, to rake in tons of it.

Please tell me how they will be able to charge PSL's for a seat to two different season ticket holders.

I have 4 season seats for the Jets...the Giants fan who has the same seats for the Giants home games...I don't think it's possible.

Nor have we confused it with the weekly charge for the ticket. One guy, sounded like wall street cat, tried to say it was an investment, other then that, nobody has anything nice to say. All I can hope is that they leave upper level side and behind the end zone ( $75.00) alone

While we obviously don't know details, I'm pretty sure you won't really get a license for the seat forver. Just for Jets home game for the seat. It won't include Giants games, concerts, college games, etc. The lone exception to that may be some of the luxury boxes.

I don't think the luxury boxes are exempt. Different people are in them for Jets and Giants games. The fees for them will be staggering.

If the 4 above mentioned seats are good seats, get ready to shell out between $20,000 to $30,000 for them.

I think the discussion needs to be this: "Will you give up your season tickets rather than pay for a PSL?". I think that is also what the poll on the front page should say. Nobody wants to pay for a PSL and I don't think anybody supports them but the bottom line is what will you do if they institute one? I think that is also the question the Jets would like to have answered.

Because you are paying a PSL for the right to those seats for Jet games. You are not going to live in those seats, nor will you actually "own them."

This is true. And don't forget, "bean counters" are ingenious at devising ways of milking the situation. No one should think a little thing like Jets-Giants shared seats is going to stop them from nailing us.

I'm beginning to rue the day I ever thought a new stadium was a good idea in the first place. For what? We're gaining nothing.

    1) The views will be worse (new stadium is spread out more).
    2) The capacity is not much more than it is at present (5% more, at most).
    3) There is no optional roof (we don't have one now).
    4) The stadium we have now is perfectly servicable with good fields of view.
    5) While under construction, the new stadium is raising Holy Hell with parking.
    6) They get a perfect excuse to charge us PSLs.
