So my league is going nutty over a trade i just made and they are protesting. First let me tell you that I traded Randy McMichael for Tony Romo as an upgrade over Pennington to go along with my combo to T.O., but that not the protest trade. Being that I traded McMcMichael, I felt the need to upgrade my TE spot, so I traded: Chis Henry/Owen Daniels for Crumpler At first glance I can see why everyone whould be so up in arms, but I broke it all down in a nice post. Let me hear what you think. Hot off the press, hah __________________________________________________--- I added onto the post that my trade partner wrote. Furthermore, let's say for one second that Chris Henry did play those three games that he was suspended and he produced at his average of 11.65...better yet, let's be alittle conservative and cut that production in half to 6pts per game; that's 18pts added onto his total of 46.85, which is 64.85. Of course this is all hypothetical, but let's just take a look see for shits and giggles: That puts Henry in the same company as: -Terry Glenn........65.35 -Santana Moss.......63.50 -Mushsin Muhammed...63.15 -Chris Chambers.....62.10 and ahead of: -Randy Moss.........59.35 -Issac Bruce........59.20 -Greg Jennings......59.35 -Chad Johnson.......56.85 -Lee Evans..........56.75 As it stands right now, Henry is 10pts lower than the superstar that is Cinco Ocho. Are you gonna try to tell me that Henry couldn't make up those points if he had played in those 3 games?? Again, this is hypothetical, but my point is that that the kid produces when he's on the field. As for Owen Daniels, forget the fact that the kid is a rookie and instead focus on his production. He's tied for second in TDs with the likes of Heap and Shockey. His company (6 below Crumpler): -Desmond Clark.....53.95 -Owen Daniels......51.35 -L.J. Smith........48.70 -Chris Cooley......46.20 -Ben Watson........43.00 -Jason Witten......39.85 Ok, so let me just ask the question then: Would you all be so up in arms if the trade was any of the following combinations: -Santana Moss/Desmond Clark -Chad Johnson/L.J. Smith -Chris Chambers/Ben Watson -Randy Moss/Jason Witten The answer to that question is probably...no. But then following that answer of no, would be: "But Henry is no Chad Johnson and Daniels is no Desmond Clark!" And you'd be right. Henry and Daniels aren't Cinco Ocho or Desmond Clark. The different is that they don't have the superstar names, but what they do have is the production that is on par with these "stars". So when you look at this trade, please look at the production of these players and not the names, or lack there of.
true...i agree for the most part, but i have seen some blatant cheating before i think it is really gay though when someone vetos to prevent both teams from getting better
What a dope...... Chris Henry sucks and I don't see Carson Palmer hitting him for to many TDs and Owen Daniels only scores if Sage Rosenfels is the QB.
