Great contest. The Jets are back in the game, a legit threat on both sides of the ball. You look like a playoff team to me. Hope Mangold's ok.
Nope, it's not non-sense. And don't give me the 4-2 winning record BS either. We haven't beat any teams worth mentioning this season. We lost to the fucking Eagles who are God awful and we lost because of coaching to the Patriots in a game we very well could have won. I'm sick to death of the bullshit playcalling on offense. I'm sick to death of piss poor time management. I'm sick to death of terrible coverage schemes that only work well against bottom 5 offenses and the Patriots exposed.
When you have the announcers, who were sucking on the Patriots all day, wondering why the Jets were letting the clock run down after the 2 min warning with 3 timeouts left you know someone got it wrong. And it was Bowles. And then he sends a blitz that leaves the biggest and best NE receiver wide open for a game sealing TD. After all the blown PI calls on the Pats during the first half, and the Marshall TD drop, we could have held them and not let Gronk get that wide open score. Bowles fucked up.
Do you even read what you wrote? Do you understand that we could have won that game precisely because of the coaching the players have been receiving week in and week out? NO team is talented enough to just roll the ball out and play against any NFL team, let alone the defending champs with that QB. The Jets had a pretty good scheme, and they really came to play today. But of course, all the good stuff was because of the players and the loss was squarely on the coaches. Anything to fit an agenda...
Guess what? Even the best coaches will lose games sometimes. The Marshall TD drop, and the 3rd and 17 completion is what sealed the Jets doom today. The latter you can blame on Bowles, but coaches are going to make mistakes here and there, even the best ones.
I had three beers. Last night. Only thing I've had today was two cups of coffee for brunch. We've got the talent to be a great team. But it's the coaching BS that Bowles showed in this game that will cost us from winning a championship. Super Bowl winning coaches don't do dumb shit like this.
My agenda is to win a Super Bowl. Apparently some people are just happy with 16 games a season and calling it quits. The game was close because we have a good team. We lost because of dumb playcalling and timeout management.
Meh I'm not sure I agree they're as talented as you think. Also is a completely blown coverage on a blitz all on the coach? Maybe I'm just not fired up enough but I'm not going to trash Bowles for todays effort.
No, the Bills suck. Is a play that isn't designed to cover all five receivers leaving one wide open on the coach? Yes, yes it is.
